• A hypoallergenic dog food contains only one type of protein. For example, this food only contains salmon as animal protein. Precisely because there are very few known allergies to salmon. The most common food allergies are to the protein of beef, chicken, eggs and corn. This hypoallergenic dog food contains no beef protein, chicken, eggs or corn. Beef tallow contains no protein.
